BABIES!!!

Anyone I know expecting a baby in January? If so that would fall right along with two babies in our family that our going to be born in February and one in March of next year! I forgot to add to my "June" blog that I found out that I am going to be an auntie again! The oldest of my brothers and his girlfriend found out that they are expecting a little one in the middle of February. And just recently I heard word of my cousin Shannon and her hubby Jon are expecting their second in March!! Actually the babies are due almost a month apart. Just when I have been saying that Adelyn is growing up way too fast, she is now going to be a big sister! So I am really really REALLY looking forward to the beginning of next year! I LOVE BABIES!

There will be pictures to come, but this was just too exciting- had to share!
Congrats to both Mike & Doreen and Shannon and Jon!!!

June

Well here is my month of June compiled into one long post! I apologize for the lack of writing. Really, I know it gets old signing on to someone's blog and seeing the same post over..and over..and over. So finally, something new to look at!!

Well, June started off in a semi-sad semi-celabratory way. June 1st we laid grandpa to rest, and celebrated the fact that he is in heaven with the Lord! We couldn't ask for anything better because he lived 87 good years on this earth and his body was ready to take rest. It's been over a month since he has passed and things are going good here. Once in a while when I have too much time and I'm just sitting around I'll think about him and get teary eyed, but then I continually remind myself that he's HAPPY with the Lord, I should be happy he's not in anymore pain! He lived with us for a few years so it is still hard sometimes going into the bedroom he stayed in. We are working on remodeling it right now. My mother has wanted to do that for a very long time so we finally ripped the carpet out and painted the walls and now it is a guest bedroom! Now all we have to do is buy a bed for it. Speaking of which, anyone looking to buy a hospital bed???? :) We are selling one. It's in good shape, too! Spread the word my friends. :D

Then the same weekend I headed to the cities to celebrate Adelyn's 1st birthday! (the song "He gives and takes away" comes to mind here..) She is such a little character! She's walking like a professional and has a pretty good vocabulary for a one year old. I haven't been able to see her since then, but by pictures I've seen on Shannon's blog she's growing up too quick! The Bradley's are hopefully going to make a road trip to Hibbing here soon so I am looking forward to seeing them! Anyway, she got lots and lots of fun gifts and her own personal birthday cake. She wasn't too into eating it though surprisingly! Mom kept trying to give her bites but she wasn't too enthused about it. :) And now at the time I'm writing this post she is already 13 months. WOW!

Then it was time to get things prepared for my good friend Brianna's wedding! I helped her put some treats together for the reception and just hung out as much as we could before she was to become Mrs. Holland. June 16th rolled around and was gone before we knew it. It is fun looking back at the 15+ years or so we've been friends and thinking about all the times we talked about how excited we were to get married someday and would always guess who was going to get married first. So congrats Bri you are the winner! Hope married life (so weird to say still..but fun:D) is going great for you and your husband!

I've been pretty busy working as I now have two part time jobs. I received a call from a local eye doctor's office and was asked if I'd be interested in applying and working there part time. She asked me to bring in a resume and a few days later called for an interview. I just started there this past week and am really liking it so far! Some days I work both jobs and others I work just one, but at least it will keep me busy. Too much time to sit around is nice sometimes, but other times I would rather be out and about doing something. I basically am doing behind the scene work right now. Helping organize, file, and some other office type work... I love it!

I was able to take a trip to Sparta Wisconsin to visit my good friends there! It's so nice being able to catch up with them and see what is going on in there life. From roller coasters to movies to taking strange pictures to going out to eat- it was a fun time!! I am thankful that time allows for me to go there once in a while! I don't like being away from some of my favorite people for too long. So thanks Williamsons for having me! Your family is like a second family to me. You guys go above and beyond and I am BLESSED to have you as my friends. Thanks also to the Brobergs for having me over! Still waiting for the ok to move in! ;)

Well, that pretty muh concludes the month of June! I hope to not leave such a long gap between my next post. Make sure to get on my case if I do!

Love you all and hope you have a great day!

and my pictures don't want to seem to upload to I will have to have a separate picture post to come soon (i promise)
