My Newest Investment!

'Tis the season for tax returns! And how did I spend some of the money I received back? ON A BIKE! I was at a meeting Tuesday night when one of the ladies from our church was telling how she just bought a bike that day and how she had no one to ride with her. I was talking to her about how I haven't been biking in so long and how I've really been wanting to go but there was just one problem. I was bike-less! It didn't take long for her to talk me into buying a bike. The very next day!!! Yesterday I went to Bikes on Howard and purchased the second bike I have ever owned. It reallly did bring back memories of my first bike. I remember I was with my parents in Pamida (back when Hibbing had a Pamida...sniff, sniff) and I found one that I fell in love with and I remember being so happy when my dad said we could take it home THAT day! It was like heaven on earth for me! So yesterday as I was trying the different bikes and looking around the whole store, it got me even more excited to start my bike riding adventure once again! Past summers I was always disappointed when people would ask me to go on a bike ride with them and I had to decline because, once again, I was bike-less. But now I am fully prepared for the nice biking weather the summer has in store for me! I am hoping to use it as a tool to hopefully lose some weight too before the big day in June--Brianna's wedding!!! The lady told me that it was a good investment, that the bike will last probably 10 years so I am glad I chose to finally buy one. Now I won't have to decline any bike ride offers! Funny how yesterday I rode the bike home in the SPRING-LIKE weather and today I second guessed myself wondering if maybe I should have bought a snowmobile instead...we got POURED on with snow so now I will have to wait until the nice weather decides to grace us with it's presence here soon in order to ride my new Trek! Bike ride, anyone???

See the water bottle? FREE with the bike. :) hahaha. What a deal!!

Not so Sure...

I got this intelligence quiz from Shannon's blog. I don't really see it too fitting to me, so perhaps I answered a few questions wrong. I dunno..what do you think? It doesn't make up for a regular post, but I needed to post something!
Love you all
